Directions

We beat the vegetable fat with the sugar until they get white color. We continue beating and add the eggs, vanilla, and granulated mastic. Dissolve the baker’s ammonia in the lemon juice over the mixture. Add flour, mix well and let it rest for an hour. Mold them into very thin pieces, spread them with egg yolk, and bake at 170 C until they get a golden color.
