Directions

We desalt the cod fish from the night before in a large bowl of cold water. We change the water regularly. We cut the cod in small pieces and we sprinkle with a little lemon.
We prepare the batter by rubbing the pumpkins in a bowl and by adding all the ingredients to the batter. We beat them all together until they mix well. The batter must be a bit thick (if the batter is too thick to add some water). We put the pieces of the cod fish into the batter and we fry them in hot oil. To make it crispy, do not forget to fry a few pieces at a time. We serve them warm with garlic and beetroot.
