We put the figs and THE raisins in cognac or rum. We chop the figs into small pieces. We beat the eggs well with the sugar and we add the remaining ingredients while stirring until it becomes a homogeneous mixture. We spread oil in a No. 26 baking dish and we place the mixture. We bake at 180 degrees Celsius (up and down resistance) for about 25 minutes. When the cake is cooled, we cut it
in small square balls and we roll them lightly onto caster sugar.
