Directions
We put all the liquids in a bowl and we slowly add all the solids and finally the flour. We knead gently by hand until all the ingredients are incorporated. We shape the melomacarona however we want and we bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until they brown. Then we dive them in cold syrup for 1 minute and then we sprinkle them with roasted sesame seeds and mashed nuts.

- 30 gr Semolina Fine MILLS OF CRETE
- 575 gr Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tsounato ABEA
- 200 gr Orange Juice CRETA FRESH
- 100 gr sugar
- 15 gr soda
- 15 gr cinnamon and carnation
- 50 gr Cretan raki
FOR THE SYRUP
- 1 glass honey
- 2 glasse sugar
- 2 glasses water
- • toasted sesame and crushed walnuts
