Directions
We put the flour in a bowl and slowly we add all the ingredients, except the butter. We heat the butter and put it slowly in the dough and we knead. When the dough is homogenized, we cover it and put it in a warm place until it expands, for about 30 minutes. Then, we press the dough to deflate and we leave it for another 30 minutes. Then we make round breads and we let them inflate. We smear them with egg and if we want we can cut them and put some sesame seeds. We bake in a preheated oven for about 1 hour at 180 degrees Celsius.

- 250 gr Cow Milk VERO CRETAN (light)
- 200 gr sugar
- 150 gr butter
- 160 gr Extra Virgin Olive Oil Koroneiko ABEA
- 75 gr liquid yeast
- 3 eggs
- 5 gr mahleb
- 5 gr mastic
- 2 gr anise
- 1 orange zest
- egg for the spreading
