We boil half of the sugar with water for 5 minutes to make the syrup. We bake the semolina, the almonds and the pine nuts until they get a golden color. We remove the pot from the fire and we pour the cinnamon, the carnations and the warm syrup. We mix the halva and we put it in a low heat until the syrup is completely absorbed. Then we add the rest of the sugar. We stir it for a few minutes on a soft fire, we cover it with a towel, and when it is almost cold, we put it in a cake form.
