SCHOOL OF BAKERY – NOVEMBER SEMINARS

The KEK Technical Schools of Heraklion Chamber, with the support of MILLS OF CRETE, continue the successful organization of seminars on German and European Bakery. The seminar will be given by acclaimed German Master Bakers in our school’s specially equipped bakery.
This time 2 seminars will be given with the following topics:
1. German breads from acclaimed German master bakers – 18/11 to 20/11
2. Sweet and savory bakery snacks from renowned German master bakers – 21/11 to 23/11

The KEK Technical Schools of Heraklion Chamber, with the support of MILLS OF CRETE, are organizing a seminar on German Bakery. The seminar will be given by acclaimed German Master Bakers.
Target Audience
To bakeries, artisans, chefs and other professionals in the bakery, confectionery and food industries.
Purpose of the seminar
The purpose of the seminar is to deepen the bread making techniques of the German bakery school as well as the main and widespread types of bread in Germany. Through the interactive participation of the trainees in the preparation and execution of the recipes, the traditional as well as modern baking techniques will be understood, as well as theoretical training.

Monday 18 to Wednesday 20 November at 13:00 – 18:00 (18 teaching hours in total)

Ikarus and Archimedes 1 Nea Alikarnassos.
2. Sweet and savory bakery snacks from acclaimed German master bakers – 21/11 to 23/11
The purpose of the seminar is to enrich the knowledge of bakeries, recipes and showcases of bakeries / pastry shops with a wide range of products widely accepted and consumed and highly profitable. Through the interactive participation of the trainees in the preparation and execution of the recipes, the traditional as well as modern baking techniques will be understood, as well as theoretical training.

Day 1: Sweet bakery snacks
Day 2: Savory bakery snacks
Day 3: Cookies and other cookies
Total duration: 18 teaching hours (3×6 teaching hours)
